Pushback on China


Here is a list of some of what the Trump administration has done of late to push back against what China is doing to undermine U.S. world political and technology leadership:

- Closed the Chinese consulate in Huston, a hotbed of spying and technology transfer ... see: CNN Story

- Lowered the hammer on Haiwei, China’s G5 communications company ... constraining U.S. chip sales to it, forbidding its technology to be included in any of our networks ... and in any foreign networks of countries with which we share intelligence ... see: Business Insider Article

- Requiring all Chinese companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges to comply, within three years, with all American generally accepted accounting principles and undergo an annual public audit by a reputable accounting firm ... see: Forbes Story

- More than 1,000 Chinese student visas have been canceled for those w who have been accused of ties to the Chinese military ... see: Forbes Article

- Repeatedly sent U.S. aircraft carrier groups through areas of the South China Sea that China has laid claim to by building artificial islands ... see: NY Post Story

- Last December the U.S. expelled two Chinese diplomats on suspicion of espionage activities .. see: NY Post Story

And raised tariffs on Chinese imports so I just paid $100 for a new stove. He says China is paying for this. BS I paid for. Latest medical word on Trump is that he has melanoma and will be dead by July.
