Ho-Hum

“Turn on, tune in, drop out” — Timothy Leary

The American people are suffering, along with the rest of the world, from crises fatigue. It has become a daily ordeal of angst. It’s so disturbing that many people are tuning out ... ignoring those things that are not of immediate consequences, and so these crises are pushed-aside ... including:

A health crisis — if one young child dies of the coronavirus, it is at the front of most of our media outlets. There is no question that this pandemic, as serious as it is, is still being touted as being even more dangerous by these media types. It is even quite likely that the data being reported by states is being fudged to appear more widespread and lethal than in fact. All for political advantage going into November. Good reason that many have figured this out and are ignoring the dire cautions.

An economic crisis — as a result of the coronavirus lockdown, second quarter GDP shrank at an annualized rate of 32.9% ... actually -8.2% year over year. And the unemployment rate is now 10.2% down from a high of 14.7% right after the shutdown. But, paradoxically the stock market keeps going up. Is this because people think Trump will pull another rabbit out of the economic hat? Or is it because of zero interest rates and enormous liquidity looking for a place to settle? Most are satisfied just that it is heading north.

A political crisis —  Yes universal mail-in voting is at the top of the news these days ... and Democrats muddy the waters by saying that this is exactly the same as absentee ballots. This is untrue ... but much of the public does not understand this distinction ... nor do they care. But they do not want the election results to be drawn out for months ... which is why Trump keeps hammering this point home.

An educational crisis — Everyone seems to agree that our schools need to open. We cannot afford for large numbers of our children to lose a year of learning ... although our teachers unions may disagree in a snit of self-indulgence. Even Fauci says that we need to send our children back to live classrooms. However, the back-and-forth arguments are fatiguing to many ... and they would like for things to be settled.

Bottom line — both political parties risk overburdening voters with too much controversy ... causing them to wish a pox on both their houses.

STAND UP FOR AMERICA!

This blog is getting ho-hum because you fail to see the truth and continue to fill these lines with conspiracy theories and false narrative.

Another reason for this blog being ho-hum is the predictable nature of the anti-Trump comments by that troll who keeps changing his name.
