General Robert E. Lee

Considering the recent rabid dismantling of our Civil-War history by northern liberals, I recently e-mailed four of my southern nieces and nephews who each carry the middle name "Lee" asking them to what they were going to change this birth-given appellation? The best response so far ... "Hussein" ...

Afterthought: Washington and Hussein University? Sara Hussein cakes and breads? Hussein blue jeans? Harper Hussein's "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Seems to me that "Grant" would be the PC flipside of "Lee". Note that the individuals are not the issue, it is revering them as heroes. You should research how German and Japanese schoolbooks treat WWII. I suspect flying a swastika flag is verboten as well as using the surname "Hitler."

Theoretically our Constitution allows such stupidity here ... but maybe not in Germany. In 1975 I was in Spain and, at a flea market, I was surprised when I saw many Nazi items for sale ...
