development by the U.S. Air-Force … and then try to sleep restfully tonight, See: Daily Mail Article. Whether this animated scenario is five years off or twenty-five years off is
not clear even from the National Geographic article (see: National Geographic Story) … but I’m certain that it will happen … given the pace of miniaturization of
communication equipment, computers, video cameras and GPS systems … along with
learning-curve extensions of our current drone robotics and battery technology.
I suppose that,
when there are swarms of bumble-bee or cockroach-sized drones performing all
kind of public and private mischief, there might well be counter measures … but
I’m pretty certain it will not be Raid.
