Tunafish Sandwich

A high-tech multi-millionaire decided to drop out and seek the meaning of life. Soon thereafter he was told that a guru high in the mountains of Tibet knew the answer to this poser. So he flew to Tibet, hired a Sherpa and took the arduous journey to the temple of this guru. After weks of grueling effort he reached this guru ... and the conversation went like this:

Truth seeker: "Oh, great guru, I have come all this way to learn the meaning of life. I will give you a million dollars for this secret."

Guru: "It is a deal grasshopper. The meaning of life is a tunafish sandwich."

Truth seeker: "That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! How could the meaning of life be a tunafish sandwich?"

Guru: "You mean it isn't?"

Bieber-licious

A life is a terrible thing to waste ... yet 24 Tibetans (many of them monks) have self-immolated in the last year to protest the Chinese government's repressive treatment of the Tibetan people,  (See: LA Times Story ... please read it to the end).

These protests have gotten scant coverage in the Western media and, thus, these grisly deaths have achieved little purpose in this country.  Why is this?  Obviously, Justin Bieber's mooning over Selena Gomez is much, much more important ...
