His Doppelgänger
I was asked ar lunch recently to name some things I didn’t like about Trump. I replied his oversized ego and that there is no filter between his brain and his mouth. I might have added he is a bit of a bounder … and tends to embellish the truth.
But this is not the fearsome doppelgänger that the Trump haters see. To them, he is Mussolini … someone who will start World War III for entertainment. To them, he is guilty of all the current trumped-up charges against him … a lying, cheating, raping, stealing insurrectionist!
He, if judging by his first term, was none of these … just a put-upon patriot … who really did put his country first.
In a way, these sham trials are a manifestation of this Trump bugbear that haunts the Left. They are trying to memorize their hatred with convictions … however unjust.
Why did the twisting of Dem thinking occur? Perhaps, Trump helped cultivate it himself during his eleven years on “The Apprentice?” An image that served him well when dealing with our foreign adversaries … but now stokes the paranoia in the Deep State.
