People who fall for the BON spiel deserve to be seperated from their money …
You did not bring up prescription drug ads. They are consistent in their style, happy people that might have a miserable list of side effects. These should be illegal — they are in all countries except the USA and NZ

BTW try to quantify how much of drug company marketing expenses would be saved if drug ads were not on TV. Also how much ad revenue broadcasters would lose. It happened with tobacco years ago.
