If the Republicans feel that they can recapture the White House in 2024 by running a a spineless RINO, they will come up empty handed. The GOP doesn’t have to headline Trump, but any alternative needs to be very Trump-like and endorsed by him.
Therefore, Pilgrim, watch for the Dems to try their very best to ally with the likes of Romney or Liz Cheney to promote someone like Jeb Bush … who would lose in a spectacular manner.
As Rush Limbaugh used to say — If you run a Democrat against a Democrat, the Democrat is bound to win.
