Three Gaffs

This afternoon, President Biden held a brief presser after his foreshortened summit meeting with Russia’s Putin … and as usual ate his left shoe. There were many gaffs, but these three stuck in my craw:

- Biden had given Putin a list of 16 targets that were off-limits to Russian hackers. Only 16 Joe … any others would be OK?

- When asked about his attitude toward BLM, he brought up the  January 6 Capitol invasion (and repeated the lie that a Capitol policeman was murdered) … all as though BLM had orchestrated it. Oops!

- He started again into his fractured Declaration of Independence history lesson … with another misquote … and said we were born with our freedoms which we then ceded to the government. Not quite, tapioca breath! We NEVER give up our freedoms … especially to the Deep State … as you, as President, should cleverly understand!

What a disappointment we have in the White House!

Afterward: Another interesting gaff I didn’t catch — he called Secretary of State Blinken his “foreign minister.”

STAND UP FOR AMERICA!

I reviewed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOw_qT1ls6k:
-- I never heard about targets off-limits to hackers of any number.
-- The question was whether Putin would tolerate groups like Jan 6 or rioters like BLM. He answered about the Capitol. Is it a "lie" that a Capitol policeman died at the Capitol on Jan 6?? He was not killed outright but attacked, bear sprayed, collapsed, and died the next day. Isn't that still murder? He just left off anything about BLM.
-- He did not say that we "cede" our freedoms to the government, he said "yield". Big difference. Cede is to give up, or give away while yield is to pay, or give in payment.
-- Calling Blinken his Foreign Minister and then correcting himself to Secy of State is rather minor misstatement, hardly a gaffe.

Go clear your craw...

Wrong on all counts … except maybe the last. Look a little harder and longer. (Are you defending this boob because you voted for him? If you did … face it … you probably just voted against Trump … which doesn’t require you to defend Biden.)
