Last night NBC held a rival Town Hall featuring President Trump up against ABC’s Biden love fest. Of course, most national media outlets deemed that Trump was outclassed ... which any fair appraisal would deny. Trump did just fine ... and Biden spent a lot of his time wandering in a rhetorical forest without a flashlight.
But there were two things that are pointed to by the left to try to make the point that Trump did not live up to expectations:
First, Trump was accused of sweating. Could be but I didn’t notice it ... however then my eyesight ain’t that good. If he was perspiring more (ala Nixon in the first JFK debate), was this the result of a staged intense lighting ploy by NBC?
Second, there clearly was a sound difference between Samantha Guthrie’s questions and Trump’s responses. Trump’s sound quality was conversational ... while Guthrie’s mic had reverb turned on ... meaning her sound dominated ... which was further reinforced by constant interrupting of the Orangeman.
Fair? Like most of the traditional media’s treatment of Trump... I think not ... it was clearly a couple of stealthy cheap shots.

I think the number was 10 million not counting the cable channels.
Over 14 Million watched Biden.
One Twitter wag wrote: "Trump proved that he didn't need an opponent to lose the debate."
Smarmy Samantha did just fine as a debater ... even more rude than Chris Wallace.
