A friend of my daughter, a conservative Republican suburban woman, told me yesterday that she had voted for Biden. Shocked, I asked her how she could possibly do that. Her reply, “I was afraid that, if Trump won, there would be riots.”

The left is at a loss as to why President Trump keeps drawwng huge, enthusiastic crowds wherever he goes ... even spawning a spontaneous parade in Beverly Hills, of all places.

This frightens liberals to the point that they lliken Trump’s appeal to Adolph Hitler’s meteoric rise in post-World War One Germany. Nothing of the sort.

Hitler’s message was nationalistic ... like Trump’s ... but he was also imperialistic and racist. Not so with Trump. He is the exact opposite of an imperialist and his only racism is his support of the Judeo-Christian ethic ... and attempts to so tag him fall flat ... primarily because they come from racists.

The real appeal of the Orangeman is so simple that the spittle-flecked left can’t believe it. And that is that many ... and soon  most Americans realize that our ruling class has been, for many years, selling out our country for personal profit. And Trump is saying that this has to stop. And he will do his damnedest to stop it.

Big Tech, big media, big Hollywood, big sports (particuraly the NBA), big academia and the Democrat party ... all have chosen pelf over patriotism. And they are throwing up all kinds of smokescreens to hide their greed ... racial divide, anarchy, the cancel culture, the Femininist movement, the billionaire class (ironically), the pandemic, etc. ... all to cover for their avariciousness  ... all taking place behind this smoke.

Trump is saying, “I see what you’re doing to deminish America and I intend to stop it!”

And his massive audiences are listening and approving ... even lovingly. Simple?

It now costs about $30 to commercially charge an electric car for 250 miles of travel .(in California, it is obviously more ... if you can get electricity during a power outage) ... or about  12 cents per mile. Now that  gasoline is abou $2.20 per gallon (more in California) ... and this can transport your Chevrolet  over 35 miles ... which translates to a little over 6 cents per mile. Wow! About half as much! Over a year of driving15,000 miles, this costs $900 extra. (Of course this may mean nothing to someone who pays $80,000 for their Tesla.)

This is not what we are led to believe ... I wonder why?

Having used Google, YouTube and reddit extensively ... and watched what is happening with Facebook and Twitter (two sites I avoid like a Wuhan virus), and having started two software companies ... I am deeply suspicious of this notion of moderation algorithms being blamed for effecting censorship on the internet.

My image of what is actually happening at Big Tech companies is that key words in many user interactions are flagged to rooms-full of lefty millennials who end up being the actual censors ... not a bit of amorphous software.

If I were grilling these Masters of the Universe in Congress, I would press for an answer to this supposition.

The debate the other night was supposed to be on foreign policy not climate change ... which is at the bottom on Americans’ list of concerns. If the moderator had not swung the focus away from one of Trump’s strong points, we might have had an even better performance out from the Orangeman,

So, kind reader, we do need a bit of a recap of what Trump has done during his last three plus years outside of our borders ... and what better person to do this than a former foreign service officer of clear head and excellent communication skills.

Covid-19 in Perspective

Are we n a second or third wave of the China plague? Clearly, the number of cases are going back up. But what about deaths? And are COVID-19 deaths being inflated  ... or are they underreported?

I have often thought that the only way to determine which would be to look at historic death trends here in the U.S. ... and then see how these trends have changed since this pandemic was unleashed on us.

To answer this complex question, let’s start by perusing the following: Real Clear Politics Study. Clearly this country has built-in incentives to report inflated Covid deaths.  

The real problem then with discovering how many deaths can be associated with the China virus is that it has occurred in an election year. The political cloud on these disease statistics makes the job of dealing with this pandemic quite a bit more difficult. (Chinese accident? I don’t think so.)

If you want to visualize what the Covid pandemic is doing to the U.S. death rate, please see the graph included in this  CDC Report. 

Interesting! When viewed in this context, coronavirus doesn’t seem quite so serious ... except, of course, for us old farts.

So IMHO, Trump is right. Covid is a real danger but it shouldn’t control our lives.

• He claimed he never said he would  ban fracking if elected. LIE

• He said he never took a penny from any foreign government. LIE 

• He claimed nobody lost their health  insurance under Obamacare.  LIE

Add to this a generous smattering of fibs and half truths about taxes, social security, Covid, immigration, healthcare, North Korea, etc.  ... and Joe Biden misremembered a lot more than he remembered.

And note, kind reader, it is the Orangeman who is constantly labeled the liar. Ironic!

Willful Ignorance

There is something curious going on. Biden supporters seem to be purposefully ignoring evidence of a major problem with their candidate. And that is when he was Vice President, he sold his country’s favors to the highest bidder ... and used his son Hunter and other family members as his bagmen.

The evidence of this egregious wrongdoing is incontrovertible, yet Biden supporters, led by most of our shameful media are doing all that they can to obfuscate and even downright lie ... palpable lie ... in order to drag their compromised candidate across the finish line.

It’s as though they were buying a new car which was missing its doors and engine ... and they were bragging that, without doors, it was easier to push. Therefore they are eager to pay the salesperson for this clunker as quickly as they can.

I won’t try to convince you, dear reader, if you are willfully ignorant about the evidence of Biden’s malfeasance. In your heart of hearts you likely sense your error. But, when this realization does finally hit you ... sometime after the election ... I suggest that you deny that you ever voted for this crook.
