Donald J. Trump has the rather unique ability of bringing out the true colors of elites who fly into his orbit. Perhaps because of his sandpaper personality or because of his unconventional take on things ... but, for whatever reason, these last four years has seen the ground littered with the fallen masks of erstwhile upright and admired people.
So, it seems, scratch a noble patriot and, underneath, you often find just a self-serving scoundrel.

Seems is was settled earlier this year that truth is not truth. So what you see as true colors might not be the real colors.
