Good News!

The news today is chock-a-block full of apocalyptic forecasts for the world. So when I find a story that points out some good news, I savor a few minutes of angst relief. Such it was when I saw this article from Watts Up With That ... which displays six charts that show how good some things really are becoming ... countering all the doom and gloomers who elbow their way into our daily dose of fake news.

One chart that I particularly enjoyed is offered above. It shows the down trends in American deaths from major weather events ... countering the climate-change alarmist meme that says just the opposite.

Take a little time enjoying these Watt's charts and then sleep a little better tonight.

Well. Here’s some data that everyone can accept, simply because no one has any control over natural disasters. The dimension of country would show wee numbers for the USA IMHO.

There are acts of God and other natural disasters that we can ameliorate ... some floods and wildfires. The Durch fought back the floods. Bravo' But Glov. Moonbeam has given up on wildfires. I think that it s so wrong.

Maybe i missed the news of how many deaths are attributed to these wildfires.

File under lightning and wind? (Although I think a lot of current wildfires are arson.)
