Blame

Anytime things go wrong, it seems that human nature requires us to heap blame on someone or some ones? Thus, who is to blame for all the death and suffering arising from the COVID-19 pandemic?

Is President Trump to be the scapegoat for not shutting down our country? What about the Chinese Communist bureaucracy and their costly misleading lies? The World Health Organization and its being a Chinese lapdog? Pelosi, Schiff and the Democrats in Congress who diverted our attention with Trump’s impeachment? The open-border globalists? Our Center for Disease Control which fumbled the virus-testing ball and forgot to prepare us for the next pandemic? Our national media for their constant negativity? President Trump’s task force for their questionable analyses and missteps? Some state governors? Mayor De Blasio?

Answer: All of these to various degrees ... the emphasis on which clearly depends on your politics. If you disagree, you need to take a deep breath and add yourself to the above list.

Thank You America

As I watch tonight’s president’s task force update, I feel profoundly humbled that much of our nation’s attention toward defeating the coronavirus is directed toward keeping me and those like me alive. (This might not be the case in some other countries ... you know which ones they are). As I have previously indicated, I am aged 81 with complicating medical conditions ... so I am (as are many friends and family) a prime candidate for that cowled man with the scythe.

So, thankfully, because of America’s efforts, I am still vertical ... and hope to stay that way until I can vote in November ... and, maybe beyond. But, in the meantime I intend to keep on blogging and breathing.

Dear readers, stay well too ...
