Even more weird is pants i bought (and returned) from LLBean that had, as a feature, a "faux fly". An ironed on strip that looked it was covering a zipper or buttons. But the pants were elastic waist with no buttons or zipper! So much for rugged manliness at LLBean.
The fly makes it easier to get them suckers off in a hurry!
