Superhero

The Democrats, with their spittle-flecked vindictiveness, have gone way too far with their waterlogged impeachment ... turning a braggadocios man of loose morals, sandpaper personality and an occasional friendship with hard facts ... into a popular national superhero.

You portray Trump as a mere rogue, as if his entire life as a corrupt liar and cheat is separate from his persona today. The content of his letter to Pelosi should trigger the 25th Amendment.
Funny, Repubs can't find anyone to testify under oath that Trump is innocent of charges. The real sham starts when Mitch McConnell opens the trial in the Senate.

Nixon didn't end-up as a superhero; neither will the Donald. Can you spell comeuppance?

Trump is deranged ... but Pelosi, Schiff, Comey, DEN, etc. are all telling it like it is? I’m amused by the disconnect. Trump is right. History will devote a lot of ink to unmasking the villains in this Shakespeare play.

I forgot one thing. Trump does not have to prove his innocence ... as your comment naively states. The Constitution demands that the Dems have to prove his guilt ... of some yet-to-be-specified crime.

History will view Trump for what he is, and always has been: a narcissist who believes he is anointed, and above the law. He believes that rules do not apply to him. He aspires to become a monarch.

Those who continue to enable him by cynically pretending "nothing happened" might be un-amused by the outcome, and the judgement of History.

Two articles of impeachment have been specified. They should be answered with exculpatory testimony. If nothing happened, why not say so, under oath?

Two articles of impeachment ... neither of which s a crime. Why is this? Pelosi might as well have impeached him for insulting her ... or having orange hair.

Pretending he didn't do anything does not make it go away. The evidence was presented. Credible witnesses testified under oath. He refused to cooperate with the congressional investigations. (He is lucky they didn't add the ten cases of obstruction documented in the Mueller Report.)

But, keep whistling Dixie. No one believes he is innocent.

He will be impeached, then McConnell's Senators will shit on the flag and the Constitution, violate their oaths, and move us a step closer to tyranny.

I believe he is innocent.
