If they are all not dead, many are certainly dying. (I truly love the last two ... and I liked Rolling Rock when it was brewed in western Pennsylvania.)

Is it possible that artificial carbonation (CO2 injection) is/was the reason for the decline of some of these businesses? Maybe Al Gore is getting even for their polluting of our atmosphere? (Although, by the looks of his girth lately, he still enjoys a few frothies.)
Further thought -- it seems that the suds industry has been a perfect example of one of the key tenets of capitalism -- creative destriction -- out with the old, in with the new.
