The great divide between the political left and political right centers around strategy. The right seems almost always on defense as the left finds a wedge issue to batter them with.
What are the latest issues? Well, how about: abortion, Jan 6, Second Amendment, election fraud, COVID vaccines, global warming … to name just the top of mind … there are many more.
Oh these, election fraud is the only issue where the right is on the offensive … but even there, the left has tried their damnedest to reverse the tables. In fact, some of the left’s greatest indignation happens when they are put on the defensive.
The left is so used to being on the offensive, that this humble blogger believes that Trump has been unique and effective is usurping this prerogative.
Maybe this is why the left is so aggressive in trying to take the Orangeman down?
Afterward: In fact one can easily view the Jan 6 panel as an indignant smokescreen covering the election fraud … putting the left back on offense … and not just to investigate the Capitol breach.

Pilgrim, it’s been a while since I updated the CDC’s Vaccine Averse Effects Reporting System (VAERS) database. Those of you who like to stay in the know might review what our vaccines likely are doing to their recipients … see: VAERS update.

N.B. These numbers have not changed a lot in the last four months. I can only conclude that the rate of vaccinations has fallen off dramatically … and/or the vaccines/boosters have gotten safer.

Would I vote for him?
Simple answer Pilgrim … yes.
Unless, of course, Republicans can find someone else who can do what I expect Trump would do on the Mexican border, for the economy, re Russia and the Ukraine, on inflation, for our energy independence, on race relations, on crime reduction, on corralling China, on draining the swamp, on Middle East peace, on COVID investigations, on our national security …. and on and on. But I doubt if the GOP can find a suitable replacement.
Or if Trump shows obvious signs of serious physical or mental decline.
I’ll tolerate all his personality downsides for his policy upsides …
