For some strange reason American lefties want to usurp parents’ responsibility for raising our nations children. (Remember Hillary Clinton’s book?) Even President Biden recently said the our children are not ours … they belong to the state … meaning all of us.

Some believe that this craziness is based upon the Marxist notion that in order to”fundamentally change” a country, you must first convert the children.

Perhaps that’s what is going on …

But, hold on there Joey Mumbles … I refuse to recognize that your son, Hunter, is in any way my responsibility or doing! And I’m sure the rest of the “village” feels the same way.

Pilgrim … do you wonder what “crony capitalism” is? Well, we are about to experience another Biden blockbuster of same.

President Trump rightfully funded the emergency development of vaccines when China first released the Wuhan red death on the world (Project Warp Speed). Pfizer, Moderna and Novavax responded with vaccines of some effectiveness but with numerous downsides. And, of course, made billions of dollars of corporate profits in the process.

Now, just in time for the 2024 election, new COVID variants are appearing to grease lefties winning at the polls. And the Biden posse is not asleep at the switch … as they are ready to shovel billion$ more to big pharma to develop another vaccine that hopefully won’t kill and maim quite so many … see: FoxNews story.

It seems so obvious to your humble blogger that these new vaccines could and should be developed with the billions of corporate profits garnered from the previous batch of Fauci ouchies. But no, it’s the taxpayers once again!

Donald Trump hasn’t always been right … particularly early on as he confessed in one of his books. But, he did become a multi-billionaire in the rough-and-tumble construction business by trusting his gut.

 Once elected, he carried this self-confidence into the White House to great effect. Not that he didn’t make mistakes … primarily in picking people … remember Tillerson, Sessions, Milley, Barr, Fauci, Wray, Bolton and many lesser flubs.

However, when dealing with policy issues, he was far better than most of his predecessors … trusting his gut.

Right out of the sea 15-minute boiled 1 1/4 pound lobster with lemony drawn butter, fresh buttered white corn and dead ripe tomatoes with balsamic glaze. And, for desert, a dish of raspberry/chocolate tidbit ice cream! Couldn’t get this in the finest restaurant!

Pilgrim, whatever scientists can imagine, science will try to accomplish. Now I’m not a biologist but last night I had a bizarre idea which I hesitate to express lest it inspires Fauci … creating an adult fetus.

The first step would be to grow a large umbilical cord … possibly by using stem cells and attaching it to a receptor site at the belly button of an adult. The other end wold be hooked to a surrogate maternal device that would supply nutrients, drugs, oxygen and essential biologicals … and receive back waste products and carbon dioxide.

With such an arrangement, the adult would need none of the life-sustaining efforts and be free to cogitate and just move around … even under water!

The surrogate maternal device could be called a self-contained underwater living apparatus … SCULA for short.

Just a thought …

Afterward: This might run into problems turning off the breathing reflex … and finding ways to keep the maternal surrogate up and running for more than a few days.

Pilgrim, were you watching Trump’s arrival in Atlanta late Thursday for his arrest and mugshot? His motorcade from the airport passed through a poorer section of town where hundreds of Blacks poured our of their homes to cheer him on.

Wow! That doesn’t happen every day!

Also, on talk radio, I heard a Baltimore caller say that where he works most all Blacks … even BLMers … are outraged at the Democrat piling-on and are now supporting Trump.

Pilgrim, you realize what this means? Trump got 20% of the Black vote last time. If he gets north is this … maybe even as high as 50% … it will be a Republican wave election … no matter what Democrats can do in the shadows.

And, unless the RINOs gain back control, it will be red elections for a generation.

Vivek Ramaswamy won the left-leaning Drudge Report straw poll after the first Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee on Wednesday night … going away. Haley was second with DeSantis and Christie tied for third. The rest were low also-rans.

So, why did Vivek do so well? My guess is that he was there and Trump was not. I believe that he has become Trump-lite …. willing to take on controversial positions and to speak his mind … but without the off-putting personality of The Donald.

Which obviously begs the question - why is he not ahead of Trump? Well, Pilgrim, because Trump has been made into a martyr by the dumb Democrats … and Americans also know how he will govern. They are not so certain about Ramaswamy.

Which brings us to the election itself. I have long thought that 2024 will be a contest between the establishment … now represented by open borders, wokeness, pro-criminal, soft on China, endless Ukraine war, sluggish economy, inflation, etc. … against the non-establishment. The INs against the  OUTs if you will.

And I strongly believe that, no matter who the INs nominate (even Michelle or Oprah), he/she will lose in a landslide … despite indictments, convictions or a repeat of massive election fraud.

When I’m right, I think I start charging big bucks for my political consulting.

In chess there is a notion called “tempo” which is far subtiler than a piece advantage. It is a sense of who is controlling the game … and often is the determining factor in the ultimate outcome.

Now Pilgrim, China may not have won the new Cold War … yet … but Biden certainly has gratuitously given away the tempo to them … a tempo that Trump had grabbed from his first meet with President Xi at Mar-a-Largo.
