How is it that we have been suffering pandemics for centuries ... killing millions and millions of people ... yet there are still no effective medical ways of dealing with these viral outbreaks other than hit-or-miss vaccines. Even the economic amelioration strategies seem to be to be inconsistent and frenetic? Have we learned nothing from our history?
Afterthought: Perhaps we should have shut down the world over HIV/AIDS?
