Senator Lankford of Oklahoma, a lead negotiator on a new immigration bill, should know better … Trump does.
President Biden flouts the existing laws today to open the Mexican border to millions of illegal aliens. If Congress were to pass into law a new set of immigration restrictions, then when Biden still ignores them, it becomes the Republicans’ problem … not the Democrats’.

Biden is trying to get a new of restrictions in place, has the Senate agreeing to it but not the House. Until then he has stay in the realm of what Trump established.
