Pilgrim, something struck me this morning — how mysticism …. religious or otherwise … seems to be involved in most major social changes and changers … Mao, Gandhi, Moses, Hitler, Lenin, Christ, the Masons … even Obama, Ronald Reagan and Trump had or have a smattering of mysticism.
Why is this? Well as best I can decipher, those who believe that they are somehow predestined to “fundamentally change” things … are the most likely actually to do so. This confidence in their destiny keeps them going when others would quit the game.
But, Pilgrim, also notice that there are very many mystics who never achieve what they view as their destiny … and trend up in the recycling bin of the enigmatic.
STAND UP FOR MYSTICISM!
