The cited example is a good demonstration of fallacious logic. The IF clause (Illegals can possess guns) is unrelated to the THEN clause (How does one justify background checks on citizens).
Further, it takes one (absurd) court decision and treats it as normal and universal.
standing up for logic.
Illegal alien goes into gun shop and picks a gun to buy. Gun shop owner can’t do a background check on him and says he can’t sell him the gun. Illegal alien says he’s an illegal alien and shows him the judgement saying he can own it. Owner must relent and sell him the heater. QED!
