The Atlantic

“I would’ve written a chapter on it.” — John Bolton

Ten people in the room, including John Bolton, avow Trump didn’t say what the Atlantic magazine contends ... and the president did travel to that military cemetery the next day after the weather had cleared.

Wrong again, my friend. Bolton Says Trump Remarks on Military are 'Despicable' If Accurate. But, “I didn't hear him say those things." That in no way means he didn't say them. Only Bolton didn't hear him say that. And the next day he went to a different cemetery. Not the one holding 1800 dead Marines.

Trump went to Surcenes Cemetary 45 minutes west ofParis after the Nov. 11 Arc de Triumph ceremony, not Belleau Woods which is about 1.5 hr. East of Paris. Also, other world leaders went to pay respects in rain on Nov. 10.

He went to a different cemetery the next day to disrespect those buried there? You people are so silly.

"... and the president did travel to that military cemetery the next day..." I think those sillies were taking issue with the accuracy YOUR statement.

Trump has blamed Kelly as the possible source for the leak, then went on to bash him nastily. If it comes down to he said-he said, Kelly has more credibility than Trump to American voters... Trump does not deny the nasty things he said about war hero McCain and others, so it is believable that he made the remarks attributed to him.

Also, generals have gotten used to being listened to ... and not listening. I suspect that’s why Kelly and Mattis didn’t work out. You can’t ask a wolf to guard the sheep.

Or a chicken to guard the kennel!

Unless that chicken has orange feathers.
