I can easily explain why many people have problems with mathematics:
The square (second power) of numbers above 1 always get larger … while those between zero and 1 always get smaller … while, of 1, stays the same.,
And, to confound things even further, the squares of all negative numbers always get larger … but those between -1 and zero get larger in a smaller way.
Now, do I need to explain square roots (negative second powers)?
STAND UP FOR MATHEMATICS!
