Google does a lot of things: searching, internet browsing, blogging, maps, directions, emailing, app downloading, etc. … some of them poorly, yet with dominant market share. Talk to most of its users and you will find them “sullen but not rebellious.”
But, pilgrim, Google’s biggest monopoly is its search engine … which, I would argue, is it’s worst technology ... I think as a result of not focusing on a diversity of results and pushing its own agenda … user tracking … and selling its products.
For instance, if you are doing an image search for which a book or movie has been named, your results are overwhelmed by them. And try to find anything from a few years ago …
And don’t get me started on its buggy blog software.
STAND UP FOR A BETTER SEARCH ENGINE!
