Angles

An interesting geometry exercise:

(N-2) *180 degrees = sum of the interior angles of a (regular or irregular) polygon of N Sides

180 degrees * N  -  sum of interior angles =  sum of exterior angles of a  polygon of  N sides

Or:

180 * N - ((N-2)*180) = sum of exterior angles of polygon of N sides

Simplifying: 180 * N - 180 * N + 360

Or: 360 degrees = sum of the exterior angles of any polygon of N sides

Sooo… as N approaches infinity, the polygon approaches a circle and the sum of its external angles will still be 360 degrees

And, of course, the sum of its rotational angles also =- 360 degrees

Fascinating!

STAND UP FOR CIRCLES!
