The clerk at Trump’s company who entered his 34 checks to Michael Cohen, Esq. into their system testified she used a pull-down menu to classify these payments and chose “legal expense.” The menu did not include “non-disclosure agreement” or “hush money.”
Ergo … verdict for falsifying financial records — NOT GUILTY
Afterward: this event occurred about 6 months after Trump was elected … and now is well past the statute of limitations for this misdemeanor.
