It’s been said that politicians would sell their first-born in order to hold onto their office. Well Pilgrim, this obviously does not apply to swampy Republicans who are falling over themselves to thwart Trump’s takeover of their party. There have been three GOP representatives … McCarthy, Buck, Gallagher leaving a majority of one … with others possible … threatening their majority.
Although this creates difficult times for the current Republicans, it likely means that, were Trump re-elected, he would have a more loyal party.
