The United States cannot defeat China’s hegemony by duplicating its tyranny. — Fletcher
STAND UP FOR AMERICA!
Aka, Grandpa’s blog … An emotional purgative for our world's cultural excesses.
Although he will never be caught showing it on camera, Barack Hussein Obama is gleefully licking his clops over what is happening on college...

China is building hegemony over Europe and Africa by their Belt and Road Initiative. See https://www.brookings.edu/blog/brookings-now/2019/05/17/charts-of-the-week-chinas-belt-and-road-initiative/
China has built out European trade channels and built infrastructure in Africa to access their natural resources. Chinese state-owned enterprises hold ownership stakes in terminals at five U.S. ports. No wars. No military intervention.
That is what we need to replicate.
Isn’t that called colonialism? (but I agree with you.)
Sure. But done in a capitalistic way. Not at the end of a rifle barrel. Not with religious motives.
Chinese colonialism is good … as contrasted to European colonialism which was evil because it involved religion?
Well, yes. So far. Forcing religion on people -- Catholic, evangelical, Muslim, whatever -- never seems to quite reach the anticipated goal. Good ole capitalism always moves the needle. Give people jobs, roads, housing, agriculture, and health. It makes for a commonwealth.
Like I often do, I think you have oversimplified things …
Occam’s Razor.
