Saint Donald

We thought he was a crude, vulgar reality TV star of questionable morals. We elected him anyway because of what he was promising. As a result, his political and media opponents took off their masks to exposed how truly venal and banal they had become. Next to this abject filth and corruption, he now looks saintly.

And he has kept many of his promises ...

No. The Donald still is a crude, vulgar reality TV star of questionable morals. Sainthood is not a relative test. Paths to sainthood: being killed for the faith (martyrdom), living a life heroically of Christian virtues, and having a strong reputation for religious devotion. Donald is none of those.

There are legions of Democrats trying to make him a martyr ...

So path 1. And that faith he would be killed for is faith in himself? You are getting to be like him. Words have meaning. If you want to gin up a phrase, make up a new word:

“The democrats wouldn’t applaud. They were covfefe. Someone said that. “

“The opponents are as crude and vulgar as I am. They make me seem virtigulent. “

“My budget is defundible except for military globalism to defend ‘America First’ which needs 100% of our nation’s revenue from the 99% of taxpayers. “
