“Gender affirming care” is the newest newspeak term for justifying grotesque mutilation and/or sterilization of young American innocents.
Afterward: It should be called “gender denying carelessness.”

According to research studies, 99% of people who have had such surgery (GAS) express no regrets. That's probably a higher percentage of satisfaction than the experiences of most popular cosmetic surgery cases. Have you seen Kimberly's new guppy lips??
But...good to know that you actually care what happens to people *after* they are born.
Please look before you leap …
Nothing like the real data: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9049036/
Sure I care about those lucky enough to be born … but this post is focused on how we are being manipulated with newspeak
Manipulation is in the eye of the beholder. "Grotesque mutilation and/or sterilization of young American innocents" is uncommon -- according to your cited source, where the vast majority of the subjects the study are adults.
It would be nice if you admitted you were wrong before you tried to change the subject …
Well, as it turns out, your own data AGREES with my 99% GAS satisfaction stat. So, how am I wrong?
No it doesn’t.
Original study results: "The pooled prevalence of regret after GAS was 1%."
Revised study: "The systematic review was re-conducted, and the meta-analysis was re-run with the updated numbers with no significant or major changes."
You really should read the stuff you cite as evidence.
I counted up the number of regrets in the Regret Table. There were 78. Meaning total number of mastectomies, adadicomies and castrations = 7,800 in the study. Wasn’t the case. … particularly if you eliminate then.Netherlands numbers as suspicious extreme outliers relative to the other results. If you bite on the 99% number you have not a cynical bone in your body … which is clearly not the case.
Found another study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8105823/
Another interesting stat: people who have had sex change operations are 19 times more likely to kill themselves. Hmm …
