The Republicans (including you, Mitch McConnell) are making a mistake opposing Sen. Manchin’s new bill. It eliminates the carried interest tax loophole, sets a minimum 15% corporate tax, only gives EV tax credits to those earning under $75k, encourages atomic energy generation of electricity, reduces drug prices, allows for a natural gas pipeline from West Virginia to Virginia … and spreads its spending over 10 years.
I’m OK with all of these items …
Afterward: And I will not be surprised if a few Schumer snakes are also hidden in this bill … but they may not be enough to change my mind IF all the above survives. (The AMT is only for profits over $1 billion.)
After afterward: How many people earning less than $75k will be buying $60k EVs?
