John Hinderaker of the Powerline blog has hit another four bagger … discussing the folly of relying on batteries to back -up our solar and wind power generation. See: Powerline posting. I won’t disclose the numerical analysis therein … but I will warn those greenies who are certain we can eliminate fossil fuels … that they are going to be sorely disappointed.
(Unless of course, the greenies suddenly endorse massive expansion of our nuclear power generation … a very unlikely solution.)
