If gain-of-function (GOF) research has its benefit in researchers being able to develop vaccines ahead of pandemics that might be so virus engineered. Then how come we didn’t have an effective vaccine for Covid-19 in the fall of 2020? Huh? Is this just a BS excuse for germ warfare research?
(I personally believe that GOF research is a crime against humanity … and should be a capital offense.)
