California has mandated that its electricity generation shall be carbon free by 2035. Now, I usually don’t read Steve Haywards’s posts on the Powerline blog. But his most recent post caught my attention because it clearly pointed out that California’s quest for this all solar and wind-based electricity generation is a chimera ... unless Elon Musk invents a battery the size of Los Angeles. See: Powerline Article . And don’t forget nuclear power generation is not an option to these jaded Green Giants.
