Interesting Wrinkle

California’s decision to provide illegal immigrants with free health insurance has an interesting wrinkle … since migrants have already been guaranteed free healthcare by the Supreme Court decision. This cost was usually borne by hospitals’ emergency  rooms.… overcrowded with illegals receiving mandated treatment gratis.

So, the fact illegals in California will now have state provided Medicaid changes little for illegals other than they now can get their healthcare less on an emergency basis. The major difference is that the costs of same will be shifted from the hospitals to the taxpayers
