Today’s Poser
Pilgrim, think long and hard. Is it worth destroying our Constitutional legal system to keep one man, Donald J. Trump, from running again for president?
The Trump indictments are about applying our Constitutional legal system to validate that the USA has fair elections. I could challenge the gerrymandering, purging of voter rolls, and bizarre gerrymandering. But how that recorded phone call to Georgia could be called a perfect phone call, after two recounts, is enough for me. Lock him up!
Are you not paying attention? Recounts don’t resolve anything if massive unsolicited mailed-out ballots are returned by gloved ballot harvesters and rushed through validity checks with not the appropriate amount of scrutiny. Simple as that.
I am paying attention. You used “if” yet no evidence of such harvesting and stuffing has been validated. And if it were true, what were the down ballot effects of such stuffing.
No one has yet suggested that Trump could not run for re-election. Stop pretending that you care about the Constitutional Legal System. Every time you don't like what's happening you blame some conspiracy. You are supporting a guy that wants to suspend the Constitution for his personal benefit. Talk about head in sand!
“No one has yet suggested that Trump could not run for re-election. ” What about the 14th Amendment crowd? Again, empty assertions. You need to read more … and stop looking through the telescope backwards.
The "14th amendment crowd" supposes that IF Trump is found Guilty of the crimes he is accused of then he cannot serve. That sound like justice to me. The Constitution seems clear about that. It's not and empty assertion to accuse Trump of wanting to suspend the Constitution -- he said it would be justified! And you are ok with that! No one is saying he "cannot run for President" == your words-- they are saying he is infit for office.
You are right. I don't read enough. Now I see that there are a lot of people who think he shouldn't be allowed to run. I stand corrected. But still loveable.

ReplyDeleteSubstitute “when” for “if” … and get your head out of the sand.
