Seems that Trump is trying to erase the legacy of every POTUS since Reagan. Or even further, trashing legacies of Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, snd Eisenhower.
Nixon: EPA Carter: department of energy; gift limits and financial disclosure; department of education Eisenhower: avoiding expanding military industrial complex Johnson: HUD; Medicare
Yeah. Seems that clean power, and control of oil/methane leaks are not "real" environmental issues. And when you stop EPA fines/enforcements, delay bill enactments, and limit information, you make it agent for industry, not protection of the environment. Which is its name. Sad.
Weaponizing emission standards beyond what is required were designed to punish ir even put companies out of business. The .EPA was so concerned with this mission that they dropped the ball on the god mine and Flint, MI. Also to label CO2 am air pollutant is insane. This is an agency that needs remediation.
Hmmm... Sounds like soundproof proof booth is crucial to that end, Prruitt would need 50 thousand dollars to be sure that his deals are for the benefit of environmental protection.
Is there anything left of Obama’s legacy besides Obamacare?
ReplyDeleteWhat's left of it ...

ReplyDeleteI can see his pushing back against the last 3 plus Carter ... but that's about it, Examples?

I conceeded Carter. I'm dubious about your other examples.
DeleteEPA?
ReplyDeleteTrump won't kill the EPA. But he might constrain it to real environmental issues.
