The all-black theme together with modest styles gave the event a much more professional and less glamorous feeling... a good thing. If women do not want to be treated like objects, dressing like they are not objects is a very good start.

It was a picture from the Boston Globe of a woman in black who was still half undressed. Interesting dicotomy.
