One strategic advantage that America has vi-a-vis China and Russia is our two-party system. These latter two adversaries’ single parties make policy mistakes and live with them until the bitter end. Whereas, our competing parties are constantly probing the other’s weak policies … and … hopefully … win office to correct them.
But, not always.
