The absentee rate in Washington, DC public schools is currently 43%! I suspect the punctuality rate is equally atrocious. How does any school system teach anything under such a burden?
Answer: They don’t!
Afterward: Whatever happened to truant officers?
Answer: I suspect they are worried about being carjacked or even shot!
