It hurts to root against your home team … but I secretly was because of Megan Rapinoe’s smarmy unpatriotic attitude whilst representing her country in the Women’s World Cup soccer match … and she managed to persuade four other of her teammates also to disrespect their country.

And, as it turned out, misanthrope Megan missed a penalty shot to allow Sweden to win their match this Sunday … see: MSN game summery.

Rapinoe may have had at one time some physical soccer talent … but she still ended up a loser … because winning also involves one’s attitude.
