In some Lancaster County farms they still speak German.
One day, a local farmer driving his buggy noticed a man using his hand to drink from the farm stock pond.
He stopped next to the man and shouted “Sehr angenehm! Trink das wasser night. Das Kuehl haben darien geschissen.”
For those that do not speak German it means: “Don’t drink the water. The cows have shit in it.”
The man shouted back: “I am from New Jersey and just here to campaign for Dr. Oz. I don’t understand German. Please speak English.”
The farmer shouted back: “Use both hands.”
I thought the Amish were conservatives?
