The depressing amount of corruption in American politics reminds one of the waning days of the Roman Empire. And the FBI has become our Praetorian Guard. — Fletcher
It is not one party. And it certainly is not just the US. We come in at 27th out of 180 countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_Perceptions_Index where Scandinavia and New Zealand top the list.
The people leaving corrupt countries were not participating in the corruption. And the likelihood that they would effect corruption in the USA are dim.

Interesting … most of the sources of our illegal immigrants are below us on this list. I suppose this means our future won’t be any brighter.
