Russia’s Vladimir Putin has seriously misread the resolve of the EU (Germany excepted), the Ukraine’s Zelensky and even a somewhat confused White House. He has escalated his bluster to the point where, to save face, he may actually have to invade Ukraine … at least the eastern part.
America’s lack of resolve, early on (“a minor incursion”), would be mostly to blame for this bloody misstep by Russia.
But to me, kind reader, it is also doubtful that [Obama] can make stick all the sanctions that Biden has promised.
Red faces all around!
