I think the operative word in the post was “moral.” The problem is that it is difficult to find a moral Dem pol. And when we do … like Carter … they think that personal morals should be national morals. He meant well, but still screwed the pooch.
BTW in terms of morals, Bill Clinton getting blowjobs from an intern was IMHO a perk of the job in JFK's days. It is a perk I support, although I'd limit it to interns and not lawmakers seeking something. There is way too much dredging up aggrievances these days. Women (especially) have to stop trying to destroy a man who copped a feel twenty years ago.
So you prefer Pence over Trump?
ReplyDeletePence over the last three Dems … and I even would hold my nose and prefer Carter over them.
ReplyDeleteSo you like "the man who calls himself 'a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order.'"

ReplyDeleteWhat are you smoking? BTW Christian does not necessarily mean moral.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you drinking? "Christian does not necessarily mean moral."?? What parts of Christianity support or even tolerate immorality?
ReplyDeleteAs I recall, many of the popes … and I throw in Cardinal Law.
