Obvious Truth
Once an opinion gets locked in, it is almost impossible to dislodge it. This is why media propagandists rush to establish the narrative … often well before the real facts are known. This then is the essence of fake news.
This, of course, also applies to the opinions of nattering nabobs who have decided that anyone who disagrees with their preconceived notions are corrupt underinformed morons or wily foxes.
