Battle of the Sexes

Women clearly have the pivotal role in breeding … and by using this leverage as the whip hand in reproduction decisions (a matriarchal society) is, I posit pilgrim, what leads to the male backlash like we see in some religious communities … an oppressive patriarchal culture.  Neither is acceptable.

So … women should tread lightly during this skirmish in the battle of the sexes lest, possibly generations hence, they are forced into a humiliating reversal of fortunes.

Afterthought: And I hate to imagine the consequences if science manages to remove men altogether from the procreation process.
