The Inflation Story

 

I have often thought that the reason product inflation has not revealed its ugly head in America is because of all the cheap manufacturing off-shoring that we have done in the last 20 years ... and the fact that, under Trump, we became energy independent. If, in the unlikely event, Biden continues Trump’s policy of bringing manufacturing back to the U.S., then we will experience more inflation. Biden’s killing of our energy independence has already put us on this dark inflation path.

However, we clearly now are having runaway asset inflation ... good for many of us old folks, but not so for our younger generations.
